The second Sierra Leone-Canada Trade Show will be a business and networking event aimed at fostering trade, investment, and economic collaboration between Sierra Leone and Canada. The trade show would showcase opportunities in various sectors such as general merchandise, mining, agriculture, infrastructure, tourism, renewable energy, technology, and services, promote bilateral trade and explore joint ventures.

Investment forum

The Forum would be a high-level event focused on bilateral investment and trade between Sierra Leone and Canada, and creating strategic partnerships and opportunities across key sectors. The forum will bring together government officials, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and financial institutions from both countries to explore opportunities for collaboration, investment, and economic growth.

cultural SHOW

An exciting and vibrant event designed to celebrate and showcase the rich cultural diversity and artistic heritage of both Sierra Leone and Canada. This cultural exchange will serve as a platform for promoting mutual understanding, fostering connections, and enhancing bilateral relations through music, dance, fashion, and cuisine. It would highlight the shared values, creativity, and traditions of both countries while celebrating the unique cultural identities of Sierra Leone and Canada.

Networking dinner

A prestigious and intimate event designed to bring together business leaders, government officials, entrepreneurs, investors, diplomats, and other influential stakeholders from both Sierra Leone and Canada. Local cuisines prepared by renowned chefs from both countries will be served throughout the evening. The event will feature prominent DJs and perfomances by artists from both Sierra Leone and Canada.

Highlights of SLCA 2025 in Toronto, Canada.

The inaugural Sierra Leone - Canada Trade, Investment and Cultural Show held from September 18 – 20 2025, in Toronto, Canada, was the first official trade and cultural exhibition of its kind between both countries. The summit convened senior government officials, private sector leaders, academics, entrepreneurs, and members of the Sierra Leonean diaspora in Canada to explore and deepen bilateral cooperation between Sierra Leone and Canada. The Sierra Leonean delegation was led by Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and the Chief Minister - Dr. David Moinina Sengeh as head of the Government of Sierra Leone, the Minister of Trade and Industry - Hon. Alpha Sesay, the Deputy Minister of Youth – Mr. Patrick Gibrilla and sevral heads of government Departments. On the Canadian side, the Federal government was represented by Dr. Drew Smith - Director General of the Pan-African Affairs Bureau at Global Affairs Canada, who reaffirmed Canada’s support for Africa’s economic transformation under the Canada Global Africa Strategy.
